I'm a living vapor...

I had an interesting conversation with a friend of mine. I say "interesting" because it was about relationships, something I really don't know much about. You see, I've never been in a "boyfriend/girlfriend-type" relationship. [I will explain all that in future posts, haha]. So after our conversation, I was driving home and as usual my mind starts coming up with things that I should have brought up earlier. It was mostly about God and just how Amazingly Awesome He is. It's kind of weird, but lately I've been having conversations with people about relationships. Different people are going through different things, but a reoccurring theme I've noticed was that people are just looking to be loved and accepted. It's sad to see that some people struggle to satisfy this desire with things that are inevitably going to bring them down. This I know because I do the same thing sometimes, sadly. Tomorrow is going to be the first day back-to-school for the spring semester. If I were to describe the emotions that are stirring inside me right now, I'd say that it's too complex. Excited. Scared. Nervous. Happy. Sad. Too many emotions for too many reasons. One thing for sure, this is my final semester as a bachelor student! FINALLY! I can't believe graduation is just over the horizon, almost coming into view. Just 4 more months to go--4 long months. But, as I've been told, those few months go by pretty quickly. So, just to savor as much of the moment as I can, I will try my best to write down (and post pics) of my experiences during these final months. I want to use these as reminders that God is with me every step of the way to the very end. My heart is beating really fast because I don't know what to expect...but I think it's going to be amazing!

Today was...wow. You know how when you make plans for something and then something else happens that sort of interferes with your original plans? Well, that happened today. You see, my friend and I had planned for this picnic thing, complete with outdoor games and such with a bunch of our friends. It was going to be pretty great, until someone informed me about the weather. I checked it out online and found that the weather was predicted to have some thunderstorms in the afternoon. It was such a bummer because I was really looking forward to have this great picnic/party thing before classes start in the spring. Change of plans.  We ended up deciding to move this thing for another date. I don't know when it will be, but it will happen...someday! This morning, I kept looking outside, and it did look kinda dark, but it hadn't rained. I did a little shopping/errands then came come to eat lunch.
