Big Break 2012...Lehs do this!
Man oh man!! Tomorrow is the day...the day I leave for Panama City Beach with Cru peeps!! I still cannot believe I'm actually going! As usual, I sent out my support letters late (just last week on Monday, actually!). On that same day I gave a support letter to one of my classmates and she gives me $50 up front. I was so surprised because I wasn't expecting that. I looked at her like, "Are you sure?" and she tells me, "Girl, you go do your thing!" Hahaha!! On Sunday, one of the parents of my goddaughters gave me $200 and tells me that if I don't get in enough support, they would pay the rest. I thought to myself, "This is CRAZY! No one has ever offered that much support for me...EVAR!" I'm supposed to raise about $400, which pays for the conference, the resort, gas + toll, and food. It might not seem like much, but for someone who doesn't have a job...that's a fortune!
Up until yesterday, I was able to get in all my support. As a matter of fact, I've received more than what I needed! I'm just in awe of how God has been working through all of this. I was worried but I wasn't doubtful. Situations like this have happened before and God always proves to be faithful to His promises! Ahhh~ God is so good, so good.
So here I am, trying to pack stuff...errr, kinda. I'm just really really excited!!! I'm trying to imagine what kinds of people I'll get to meet and what kinds of conversations I'll have with them. PCB is like a spring breaker's hot spot, so you'll get the opportunity to meet so many interesting people. I cannot wait for the surprises in store for next week! And I definitely can't wait to say at the end of the week, "That was all God!"
